Preparing a distinguished graduate in music education with professional and scientific competence capable of conducting academic and applied research that qualifies him to compete in the labor market and meet the needs of society.

The Aims of the Department :

• Preparing ,updating and developing instructional programs , learning techniques and tools in all the sub specializations in the department which are in line with the department's mission .
• Uplifting the standard of the scientific research conducted in the department up to a distinctive status among the identical departments .
• Upgrading and improving the professional level of all the instructional research, ,and administrative process elements in the department .
• Facilitating the participation of the teaching staff members in the local, regional and international conferences.
• Elevating the aesthetic taste of the college students in general.
• Participating actively in the various occasions in the community inside and outside the university.
• Consolidating the cooperative relations with the instructional and community institutions which share the same interests.
